The program is to carve out and design a space for lesser dominant genders in the central business district of Ahmedabad, this building would become a center for the oppressed genders to come together and learn from each other and help each other in becoming self reliant. Architecture here emerges as a great response to the problems faced by these genders, whereas for women, it would provide a place to develop each others skills, It would bring out belongingness in the other gender non conforming people, by having them cross paths at common areas on a daily basis. This would in turn bring out a more inclusive & self reliant society, outside the shackles of the age old gender based societal structure.
