Vertical Street

In response to the impending elevated metro corridor, the program is to design a high-rise office building in Ahmedabad's Central Business District by activating a commercial street and incorporating it as a part of the tower. The project intends to challenge the nature of the elevated corridor by re-imagining a street vertically. The architectural design emerges as an interpretation of a street, extruded from ground and ascending vertically by including the elevated metro corridor into the social drama.
