Documentation and Analysis of Vachali Khadki, Dharmaj

In foundation studio, the three interdependent modules help in providing a complete picture for understanding the building through its various components. Module 1(Documentation): to develop knowledge of various tools and techniques  to record the building in its present state on site, in addition to also learn to conduct qualitative and archival research and digital documentation. Module 2(Materials): understanding the properties of traditional building materials through laboratory analysis and hands-on exploration of construction. Module 3(Analysis): identifying, interpreting and assessing values of historical sites through attributes understood during on-site documentation and qualitative analysis.
