Low Income, live & work Housing

The Housing Project in Nehru Nagar, Surat : focuses on creating a habitat for migrant communities promoting a socially interactive live-work environment. An existing urban fabric on the site is documented and analysis has been done which lead to main design strategies. The design proposal tackled issues related to variety of immediate build environment . The hierarchy, proportion, and nature of open spaces has been designed such a way that it provide opportunity for sense neighborhood.
