Designing Affordable Lifestyle

The studio started with how to look at a brand, research on the history of design and connecting the dots with Ikea's history. After which a visit to Ikea Mumbai was done, looking closely at how the products are placed, made, hardware that is used, and execution of its core principle - flat pack and user assembly on such a large scale. The next task was to design three Ikea products, a one-week project, a two-week project and the last one had to have a systems approach concept.  Hence, displayed below is the work done throughout the semester.
