This project is about identifying the suitable areas for installation of solar panels in Bangalore. Initially, Karnataka was selected as a macro level study and then based on three criteria, Bangalore has been selected as the micro level study. Different criteria have been selected for finding the suitable locations and criteria weights have been given for each criteria and weighted overlay has been used. AHP process has also been done for decision making process. As a final result the suitability map has then been generated and that helped to identify the suitable areas for installation of solar panels.
