The diverse roles of reeds

The tropical semi-evergreen and grassland forest of Kaziranga National Park lies in the Duar flood plains. Its unique geomorphology allows for its rich biodiversity and topography. The study aims at understanding the diverse roles of reeds. The study started by understanding larger system of forest and  grassland  of Terai region and its correlation to hydrology and geomorphology. It acknowledges a journey through varying system of grassland and asks one to pause where reeds plays its diverse roles as anchor, thresold and survivor. This project aims to understand the co-existence of flora and fauna with the grassland and its seasonal changes.
