FSSM within AMC Limits and its Peripheral Villages

Cities jurisdictions are expanding at rapid pace, but the basic service provision is not able to cope up the demand due to this gap in service delivery is observed. In case of Ahmedabad the provision of centralized network is done for 95 % of its population and 5 % still depend on the on – site sanitation services and management of the on – site service chain is less efficient in the city as there is less formalization of the service provider and this project aims at developing strategic solution in terms of technology, financial, social, regulatory and data management which will lead to efficient on – site sanitation system management for AMC as well as in its peripheral villages. Overall project aims at providing safely managed sanitation services through FSSM.
