A Social Learning Space

The project aims to create a learning space which has a beyond schooling aspect and becomes multifunctional and has the potential to become the center in the neighbourhood. The site is located in the urban area of Vietnam which has a warm and humid climate. It celebrates a safe environment for the students to learn and play as well as for the community to socialize and interact. The school has a Central mound, parking space for the community, Multifunctional space which can be used as a walking track, a place to celebrate festivals and a space where people can set a temporary market. The school has mass and void is such that it so separate open space for the independent functions while maintaining connection through the central mound. The partial division of the building provides a public, semipublic and a private zone for the activities to happen accordingly.
