Lighting and Integrated Design Lab

This semester contained two parts wherein the focus of the first half was on understanding lighting simulations and methods of performance evaluation. The second half of the semester was to explore the integrated design approach for an office building in Hyderabad, done by incorporating the concepts learnt over the coursework. The overall aim was to attain building energy efficiency using passive and active strategies starting from building envelope to lighting to HVAC system optimisation.
