The Court, Pathway and Pavilion by the Lake

The project is situated on an edge of Nikol Lake in Ahmedabad. The aim is to create life-enhancing places through three major interventions – an entrance court with a canteen, pathways connecting to maidans, and a pavilion beside a garden and a lotus pond. Repeating modules of 3x3M, cast out of concrete, have been used throughout the built structure with minor variations. Shaped by the imagination of meandering streams, the project attempts to enhance the feeling of offering towards the lake and water.
