The studio focuses on procurement management of bridge infrastructure project. Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project was selected and the client is Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the project is funded by JICA. The project has 1 phase having 4 packages. Package 3 is taken for studio work. The Length of the project is 21.8km and package 3 is 3.613km which is having 6 lane freeway. The cost of Project is Rs-17,483cr and cost of construction is Rs-14,262cr. Cost of Package 3 is Rs-1013.79cr. MMRDA awarded the EPC contract of Phase 1 Package 3 to Larsen and Toubro.

Study about the Bridge Project and its details was carried out by preparing Project Family Tree.
The whole Procurement Cycle and methodology of studio and of the project is studied and how the procurement process works is studied.
To understand the projects similar nature of bridge projects were studied. In that, details about stakeholder, technical and financial details, why the project is constructed is studied.
Study about the Key Players i.e. contractors and Consultants in the bridge infrastructure project is studied. About the company their past projects, specialization and annual turnover and where they have worked is studied.
A survey was carried out to study what is the bidding strategy of the contracting firms and what they think to decide to go for bidding. A Bid Go/No-Go Checklist was prepared to carry out survey.

While doing the interview a discussion was done from which it was known that these are some of the major clauses which are suggested by the contractor. These major clauses should be checked, evaluated, and fulfill if necessary and then think for bidding for a project.
