The Four Points.

Tom Kundig’s idea of Structural expressionism initiated the design philosophy for the furniture piece. Exposed joinery between single or plural materials makes one appreciate the transparency and honesty in joinery/details. The idea of visual lightweight and continuous lines as seen is one of the attribute to examine. The floating effect created between the the frame of the furniture and glass is another understanding learned from the studied architect. The design was anchored by the idea of contact of material with ground and glass.
