Public spaces are always an integral part of the city. Nolli’s maps of Rome were an opportunity to look at the built and unbuilt with different perspectives. Readings from the written works of Richard Sennet, William H. Whyte and a few others paved way to understand and decode public spaces with the help of studio exercises. The metro station is imagined as an anchor, a cluster of amenities that has been carefully placed to seamlessly connect and integrate the multitude of activities happening in the surrounding context. Providing for each and every stakeholder on site, the station hosts a healthy mix of functions.
