Kinetic Curtain

The idea is developing a kinetic installation that imparts a spatial character. To accentuate the experience of that kinetic element the space around the installation is also developed.The exercise thinks of redeveloping the east entry to the campus of the CEPT University. With the context of the south lawns, the kinetic installation will make a directional space that would orient the visitor to visit the south lawns. The curve in the movement and the circular nature of the design is influenced by the mechanism. This design of the kinetic curtain was derived from the mechanism of a toy.
