'The Bloodbath In The Bagh' is a memorial dedicated to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. Located between the walls of two pre-existing residences along the boundary of the Jallianwala Bagh, the memorial intends to create an experientially engaging space in addition to displaying and situating the context and establishing relevance of the event. The above intent is expected to be achieved through the assembly of simple architectural elements; walls, steps and platforms.
