The Cultural Centre aims to create a place that revives the historical significance of Shah Alam area, a Muslim ghetto in the city. It preserves the memories by reconstructing valued entities, in addition to spreading more knowledge and teachings about Islam. Along with preservation of memories, it also looks forward to give a place for leisure and recreation and thus a place to breathe in the existing dense urban fabric. It does so by keeping the culture, heritage and uniqueness of the community and stakeholders the paramount priority. The flexibility and informality of the shared lived spaces of the neighborhood are integral and aim to uplift and escalate community oneness too.
