A Compact neighbourhood promoting community engagement

With cities expanding beyond our imaginations in ways we can barely understand, the designs we propose need a touch of personal connection, of a hint to peaceful daily living. The imagination of an ideal day, with aspects to work and life beyond it made accessible is what this project has been about. A walk with the dog in the park, a chore done in the span of 5 minutes, a bus boarded from near the house or a school where the kids can go within a stone’s throw. That would be an ideal day. Cities and townships, with their scale can be intimidating. My emphasis during this process has been to make them endearing.
