Ahmedabad as a city has two transits, making a large part of it fall under Transit oriented zone. The area under TOZ is expected to be better developed according to the TOZ policy, but the ground reality differs. Ahmedabad has not witnessed TOD in most parts. One such example is of Vijaynagar, Naranpura. Vijaynagar has two BRTS stops and soon to come, one metro station which makes 75% of it to fall under the TOZ. But in terms of development, a lot of anomalies are seen. This project highlights those anomalies, and then compares the case with other cities.
