This study analyses the order that exists within Ambegaon Budruk's chaotic urban development. As a part of the study, one square kilometer area is selected which includes Ambegaon Budruk and its surrounding area. Ambegaon Budruk is one of the Pune suburbs that evolved organically as a result of the establishment of educational institutes. The study looks at how this residential suburb evolved and has developed as a result of migrants. Further, looking through the causes of chaotic development and other aspects that show some order, this study demonstrates that, even though the area was developed in a haphazard manner, there is some organization in the physical dimension of the area.
