Ahmedabad's urban fabric is made up of a combination of mid-rise and high-rise structures. As in the case of Ramdev Nagar, certain determinants are responsible for shaping the urban context of the area. The built form of the neighbourhood is merely a reflection of the development that has been caused by a given element in order to govern the built form and character of the neighbourhood. The portfolio examines the impact of such a neighbourhood on the built form and its transformation over the years, which in turn influences the quality of life in Ramdev Nagar.
