This Portfolio speaks about the evolution of the Urban Village, Sola, in the peri urban fringes of Ahmedabad, in past two decades. A precinct of 1 square kilometer in Sola is studied and it can be classified into three sectors. A peri urban sector, an urban village sector and an interface between the two sectors. Each sector is analyzed through and their characteristic significance is brought out through various lenses of streets, Built form, Land forms and the Public realm.
