The Nikol Gam is located in Ahmedabad, a dense residential suburban pocket developed through industrialization in the North Eastern part of the Ahmedabad city, Gujarat. The development is largely influenced because of its close proximity to the major Industrial zones. The economy of this area is mostly based on these industries and commercialization. The Nikol Gam is also well known for its diamond industries. Most of the built form is low rise and affordable housing which were constructed for mills and industries workers and labours.
