The Eastern part of Ahmedabad city is highly influenced by the industries, yet there are residential and commercial settlements emerging and thriving. Odhav is situated at the easternmost part of Ahmedabad right at the edge of the municipality boundary. The purpose of this portfolio is to understand what was there before the establishment of an industrial estate and how an industry-influenced area of Odhav locality has emerged as a residential and commercial-dominated area on the easternmost part of the city of Ahmedabad.
