Ahmedabad has a distinct void in the structural and built environment from west to east. Understanding the city through the view of smaller pockets and distinguishing how development transformed the urban morphology. Bapu Nagar is one such area, lies close to the walled city sustaining the character of residential neighborhood. It narrates the story of Bapu Nagar through a defined one square kilometer area has transformed from 1934, the current situation and factors that have led to the difference in character with concern for future development to meet the demand of the public.
