ENHANCING THE HERITAGE - SANKDI SHERI, AHMEDABAD

In order to prepare a micro level plan we considered site area based on the significant landmarks as well as importance of Sankdi sheri and Gandhi road. Firstly, we did existing situation analysis, preparing GIS dataset and mapping. Identifying issues, strengths and opportunities we move on to concept plan preparation. In the concept my focus was to recollect old infrastructure which is suitable to the area, along with connecting missing links, preserve heritage character with modern facilities to enhance the quality of life.
