Proposal For Transit Oriented LAP For Station Area

The Surat Railway Station Area is the heart of the city. Row residences, business buildings, and factories predominate in this densely populated neighbourhood. Surat's GDP is heavily influenced by the region's diamond industry. Surat-Kamrej Highway, which includes the Varachha flyover and Lambehanuman Road, connects the area to the rest of the city. Surat - Kamrej is served by BRTS, which provides regional public transportation, as well as a projected metro on Lambehanuman Road. Apart from that, the Surat railway station is set to be converted into a multi-modal transportation hub, which would offer a slew of new opportunities to the city.
