The learnings about the water elements such as spouts, channels, steps from Sarkhej Roza and Mandu were manifested to redesign the access for Damodar Kund, Girnar. The concept for the same focused on Salvation (achieving Moksha) to give importance to the rituals happening at the site which mainly involved Asti-Visarjan and Pind Dan in Hindu Mythology. The design revolves around steps and plinths. While steps symbolize the journey, the plinth symbolizes the pause and water in Kunds symbolizes the purifying of soul. The steps and plinth combinations are designed as pavilions, place for worhip and reading spaces in the library.
