The Vertical Greens

  The studio focuses on understanding the market forces' undefined by-laws to understand the parameters affecting Real Estate and its implications on design. This is done by 4 design exercises throughout the semester. Each exercise focuses on different aspects of design, from maximizing efficiency to exploring different types of units and responding to the larger context in terms of program and form. The first two exercises were about understanding the GDCR and designing housing units with maximum efficiency and the later exercises explored different concepts keeping in mind the rules and regulations.
