The studio started with understanding the GDCR. There were 4 design quests throughout the semester wherein a new layer of information was added with each quest. In design 1and 2, only understanding the GDCR was important. In design 3, site study was an added layer. In design 4, explorative form also unfolded. Vertical connectivity was the main concept for the final design. Physical and/or visual connectivity formation was the main idea. The design consists of five floor stacks repeated and mirrored as one moves higher creating two common spaces for interaction in every stack. Click for detail work.
