Bridging Curves

The site is a dense residential area on the periphery of the old- city of Ahmedabad. Considering the context, the project targets millennials from the old- city who might want to move out to live an independent life or start a new family. It offers them a chance to stay connected to their roots while being closer to new opportunities in the city. The building attempts to form a close-knit community among the residents. The units expand vertically rather than horizontally, allowing more units to accommodate a single floor. This increases the chances of accidental interactions among the residents along with making it affordable for them.
