The Aravalli with its diverse forests in the past acted act as a green barrier against desertification. Today, the forests in the Aravalli are no longer an effective green barrier. The tree that thrives in the Aravalli hills is the Anogeissus pendula. The study directed toward the search for Anogeissus pendula, the pioneer species of Jaisamand wildlife sanctuary in southern Aravalli. It aims to understand the contrasting and diverse conditions for the growth of Anogeissus pendula, tracing how this species carves its path in the Dry deciduous forest of Jaisamand. Anogeissus pendula with multiple variations indicating continuity within the forest.
