The design is based in Leh, Ladakh and is to build an artist’s residence, studio and exhibition space as well as a homestay which can withstand the region’s harsh environment while consuming the least amount of energy possible. The building’s design, which doubles as a home and a studio, relies heavily on the idea to provide effective heat gain while making logical use of the contour levels. It also makes use of the idea of earth berming, double-layered facades and sunspaces while keeping all the buffer activity spaces towards the north.

The climate analysis of Ahmedabad has been studied above along with how climate affects a particular residence with the anthropometric study of a bathroom.
The above is the study of a former residence which is converted to an office in Ahmedabad and the climatic strategies used in the building to make it function efficiently is studied.
BEDZED, UK is a sustainable housing development project which makes use of various strategies to make the building function smoothly
The unicellular block is the initial attempt to understand the climate of Leh and how a building would perform understanding various strategies and apply in the 30 sq. mt. office.
