This property is owned by Ahmedabad Farmer’s Association. The reason behind developing this market is to bring in farmers from different states who can come and sell their products in this very market. The site exists in the Urban Fabric of the city of Ahmedabad fingered between a busy flower market known as Jamalpur Phool Zazar at the bank of Sabarmati Riverfront. The design is an invention between chaos and peace. Hence it is not a distinct boundary, but rather a porous layer that allows the integration between the mayhem of the flower market and the whispers of the waves of Sabarmati.
