SWADES MARKET: CHOOSE LOCAL

"SWADES MARKET", an initiative by the 'Swades Foundation' to create a platform for the farmers to directly attract customers and help them marginalize the profit they earn. The site is in Ahmedabad near the riverfront, adjacent to the Jamalpur flower market. The market offers individual modular stalls and an exhibition/display place for young artisans to promote their art. The project creates opportunities for social interaction between the artisans and consumers directly with the concept of 'Ordered chaos' defined with quality circulation space. All the drawings and details were explored and understood in creating the necessary drawing set for the market.
