This studio focuses on product manufacturing rather than designing. It starts with analyzing or decoding a product and representing that analysis through technical drawings. The technical drawings focus on manufacturing processes. Once the drawings are done, the manufacturing process is mapped and a bill of material is made. Based on that a factory layout is made which talks about the space required for production and the rate of production.

This task was about the mapping manufacturing process of a chosen product. The chosen product is Mortice & Tenon door lock. Drawings were made and then one component was chosen to map the manufacturing process. The mapping included understanding of standards & tolerances required to manufacture that component.
