Mobile Air Quality Monitoring for Rajkot City

The Project "Mobile Air Quality Monitoring for the Assessment of Urban Air Quality" aimed at monitoring & assessing Particulate Matter Concentrations in the urban areas of Rajkot city. This was done by installing an air quality monitoring device on the City Buses, which would give the PM data along with the geographic coordinates. The data obtained through this data was analyzed, trends were studied, and High Concentration areas were identified. Further field surveys were done to identify the problem sources & measures to mitigate them were proposed.
