Elements of Housing Design

Housing typology design exploration: Module 3a: The third module involves the Housing Typology Design exercise. In this exercise, students will design new building typologies while integrating ideas of social structures of families by type, size, social parameters and other relevant ideas. It will involve the creation of housing in abstraction and will be focused on design clarity and conceptual strength.  Module 3b: (Design feasibility proposals) The third module involves exploration of Design feasibility proposals. While module 3a focuses on conceptual ideas module 3b will focus on preparing a design feasibility strategy where students will be given two sites and will prepare the Design feasibility Proposals with focus on Site parameters, Building Regulations and Built Density.
