Locomotion of Points

By studying and abstracting Jellyfish’s motion, contraction-relaxation has been taken as the primary consideration, to govern the form development. Other abstractions from Jellyfish’s motion were the shift of volume. By considering all of it different concept models were made that depict the abstraction of Jellyfish’s motion. Based on these concept models, after studying and understanding the site + function, form development for the pod for the reading & lounging area has been done. Which provides enclosure & privacy in a space, as well as acts as an installation in a ceiling while not being used as a pod.
