Gyroids are a type of minimal surface - with zero mean curvature - that are triply periodic which means that they can be multiplied in three dimensions to give a lattice. This lattice forms interesting interspaces and these interspaces are explored in this project to make an informal workspace. The overall aim is to make an adaptable workspace. Here the whole gyroid is divided into its most basic, smallest part and that forms a unit module. This module is experimented with to make a form which satisfies the function of a casual workspace. A part of this space, its lower curves, make for lounging, sitting space. Hence the structure is versatile, accommodating and experiential in its nature. The form creates pockets of spaces due all the interspaces of the gyroids itself and the modules are arranged such that there is a sense of division with continuation.
