Exploring Pedestrian Bridges

In this studio we explored about different types of bridges and their components. We tried to understand the construction of Bridges and their load mechanism. We started off with a case study and designing a bridge architecturally according to the case study. With that we also visited many sites to understand the process. After that we did grillage analysis of a bridge design given to us to understand the designing of bridge structurally. At last we designed a junction such that to keep minimum traffic at grade by giving bridges in different directions, making cross section of their structural system.
