Introduction to Bridges

In this studio, we looked at various bridge types and the parts that go into making them. We sought to understand the construction of bridges. The first step in designing a suspension bridge is to research several suspension bridges online and in reference books, then use the knowledge gained from the case study to develop an architectural design for a bridge. After that, We used the grillage analysis technique to study a Voided slab superstructure. Now that a junction has been provided, a bridge proposal has been proposed to lessen traffic on the ground level.
