'Samavay';  literally translating to coming together of everyone; focusses on exactly what the name suggests, acting as a catalyst to bring the people of Koliwada together by providing various levels of open spaces for community interaction and celebrations. These shared spaces, joined by meandering paths, maintain the element of surprise that the built fabric of Koliwada has.It also focusses on helping connect the culturally important sites to the proposed intervention and also giving back to the city by providing more access to the mangroves since the Kolis' community spaces serve to protect mangroves and mitigate the effects of climate change. 'Samavay' also strives to establish the relationship between the built and how it responds to the open spaces.
