Dynamic change of Green Cover into other land uses.

Ahmedabad district comprises the city of Ahmedabad, in the central part of the state of Gujarat in western India. It is the seventh most populous district in India. This study is carried out for a temporal analysis of two decades for the Ahmedabad district, having an area of about 8086 km² from 2001-2021, to study the dynamic nature of the conversion of the green cover into other land uses and its impact on the environment. To observe the effects on the environment, NDVI and LST are calculated for the 2001,2010 and 2021 years respected to detect temporal change.
