Garden City Township Masterplan

A greenfield land on the western suburbs of Ahmedabad, near the future Dedicated Freight corridor, and along the proposed Knowledge and Institution Zone is the location being considered for this township. The goal was to develop adaptable framework plans that support diverse, inclusive neighborhoods that are sensitive to natural resources. This residential township masterplan focuses on strengthening and activating the natural landscape within the site, promoting active mobility and encouraging compact mixed-use development. A vision that drives the master plan and the objectives that guide it along with various strategies were used to make the township livable and active.
