Spatial Influence of Transit Mega-project

The idea was to understand the influence of mega projects such as High Speed Rail Corridor on the surrounding region. How the built form and development would be oriented in terms of greenfield areas surrounding the station. In this project, Bharuch station of HSR is considered and  after understanding the existing scenario, a zonal level proposal was created. Further to understand implementation, TP Scheme mechanism was adopted. Considering the  footfall HSR would bring, to cater to their need, infrastructure provision was given with 39% of land appropriation.
