Synergizing Economy with Ecology: DREAM City TPS, Surat

Surat is a high functioning economy based on diamond industry and textiles. With government's focus on providing state of the art trading hub for diamond industrialists at DREAM City in Surat, the Surat Diamond Bourse is about to complete construction. However, this city is envisaged to be developed through land acquisition model as was found in KHUDA and DREAM CITY Master Plans. Additionally, the topography is found to be unaddressed in the planning of roads due to which immense flooding was observed during site visit. This project is an attempt to address these issues through TP Scheme mechanism.
