Entwined Neighborhood

Entwined neighborhood is a speculative design project that aims to build an urban neighborhood which is humane, creating spaces that are in harmony with social and cultural lifestyles through urban forms and design. The built form is has pockets of green spaces with transit connections like cycle tracks and walk ways are proposed throughout the neighborhood entwining functions and infrastructure to enhance that experience for all user groups. The idea is to give pedestrians more preference than vehicles thus the vehicular entry is restricted to the peripheries. This not only enhances the likelihood of chance encounters but also incentivizes people to mingle, converse, interact and ENTWINE!
