The first segment of this report has the development of a toolkit to assess Rajkot's water sensitivities and analysis of the root cause of the present situation. based on the seven goals: governance, community, equity, resource, ecological, urban space, and adaptivity. The toolkit is linked to a ranking system and performance-based project financing; hence, a yearly assessment of the city is required. The other section is a road map to Water Wise Rajkot. The road map is created following the outcome of the city’s water evaluation on the toolkit. The result indicates, for Rajkot to become Water Wise, the city must focus on adaptable infrastructure, behaviour change, and an integrated approach. To accommodate these, two action proposals have been suggested. Action 1- Establishing Green and Blue Network in upcoming Development is a planning-based proposal that will interconnect the lakes and ponds through blue networking for water and flyover bridges of walking and bicycling, this will help in a systematic approach to mitigate flooding and saving rainwater. Action 2- Behaviour change and communication strategies.
