Bhasha Research Institute, Gora Village

Located in Gora Village, Kevadiya, the Bhasha Research Institute is designed in a way that merges with the landscape. The Institute is strategically placed on the hill, allowing the building to merge and hide. From the site approach to the building, one cannot see the building. The entry is through the roof which is covered with vegetation and public and semi-private spaces are divided by floors. Interactive open spaces near studios and classrooms are provided to increase interaction between people from different places. The Institute is oriented north which helps reduce the energy consumption used for thermal comfort.
